Spiders

Every once in a while you look around and realize that you’re falling behind on life when you weren’t looking.  Maybe your universal all in one remote doesn’t work anymore.  Maybe you broke the counter-weight off one of the windows in your house and it slammed into your hand.  Or maybe the hinge on your gate broke letting your children wander in and out of the backyard and into traffic.  Or maybe you have black widow spiders in your basement.

Now.  I know what you are thinking:  that’s brown.  It doesn’t have an hourglass shape on it.  Here’s a professional photo:

That certainly is a black widow. I have several around my house. One in my garage was a beautiful large widow, black with the red hour glass, and then one day “she” looked like the picture you show here. I suspected she was pregnant or just over indulging. I took her out of our garage and far away from my house.

I saw a spider that looked exactly like that one. I wasn’t sure if it was a Black Widow so I flipped it over and low and behold there was an hour glass shape on its underbelly. And I’m sorry to say Sandi Shelton but I live in Connecticut!

I have an all-brown from beneath office bookcase in basement. I keep in jar with stujff for him to hide under. Threw a couple beetles in there. Wrapped them up and sucked them dry and let them fall to the floor. Been about 2 weeks now. Seems to enjoy life. My wife on the other hand doesn’t like inside. I usually keep top of computer table shelf. I now but behind computer in dark cubby hole. Today I noticed an egg sac. Soft white. He/She is very active around the sac

Your crazy if you keep a poisonous spider and feed it. My sister lost her leg after battling damage for several years caused by a poisonous spider.
